UMMTA are excited to announce the selection of “Camelot” as their next feature musical. With music by Frederick Loewe and book & lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, “Camelot” takes place against the grand background of the establishment of the Round Table, the Crusades and battles that brought down a nation. It utilises these elements to tell a tale of idealism lost, of the battle between noble aims and a brutal reality. Richly lyrical and featuring a charming score, “Camelot” powerfully tells a tale of intense passion, beguiling mysticism and lost idealism.
We are currently calling for applicants to bring their dynamism and creativity to the “Camelot” Production Team. To be staged in Weeks 10 & 11 (production fortnight Sunday 16th to Saturday 24th October) in the Guild Theatre), a synopsis for the show can be found at http://www.musicalheaven.com/Detailed/939.html
