A Union House Theatre Production
Part of Mudfest11
Ever wondered what that person in the train is thinking? Was that cute guy really checking you out… or was he just staring vacantly in your direction? Can you ever really know what goes on in the mind of a stranger?
Into the Unknown mines these questions for their full theatrical value – and discovers mystery, comedy, violence and truth in familiar public spaces.
Built from a series of improvisations, ranging from the utterly abstract to the viscerally real, Into The Unknown is the product of a unique collaboration between award-winning writer, Ian Wilding, Union House Theatre’s Artistic Director, Tom Gutteridge, and four Melbourne University student theatre makers. These showings of Into the Unknown will be a work-in-progress as we develop the show towards a future season.
Artists: Eleanor Bally, Tom Gutteridge, Joshua Lynzaat, Olivia McCombe, Ian Wilding and Mattie Young.
