Stefania Capogreco and Ezekial Gould have both resigned from the Queer Office. All Student Union members who identify as Queer are invited to nominate to be considered by the Queer Committee for appointment as Acting Queer Officer for the remainder of 2009.
The UMSU Constitution and Regulations specify that the Queer Office may be held individually or jointly with one other member. If the Queer Office is held individually it must be held by a woman. If the Queer Office is held jointly, at least one of the persons holding the Office must be a woman.
Please submit nominations by email to secretary[at]union.unimelb.edu.au by 5pm on Friday 9 October.
