Develops awareness campaigns and provides support to queer students on campus and in the community.
Secretariat
Facilitates open and transparent structures of participation, with appropriate records maintained and made available to students, whilst ensuring that constitutional safeguards are complied with.
Welfare Department
Advocates for students and facilitates discussions regarding student welfare, access and equity issues.
Women's Department
The Wom*n’s Department fights sexism on campus and off. Women are systematically disadvantaged at uni and in the community at large. Think that stinks? Get involved!
President
Acts as the official spokesperson for UMSU and represents students to the University, government and wider community.
Arts Department
Assist student participation in the arts ensuring that the Arts Office is diverse and accessible.
