Students and and staff celebrated International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia with UMSU last Friday. Click the link to see some of the messages of love they had for the queer students on campus…
Come in at lunch time on Wednesday for some free grub and to hang out with the coolest people on campus. Pies from the Co-op and pizza from Pronto’s will be provided but everyone is more than welcome to bring their own lunches, there is even a fridge to store your food, and a microwave to reheat it.

This week in Queery, we’ll be looking at feminism and queer. What roles do gender and power play in same-sex relationships? How would feminism work in a post-gender world? We’ll be looking at how feminism applies and interacts with queer identities, relationships and the queer context.
From May 13 until May 17 the Queer Department will be celebrating the week International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Throughout the week, we will be hosting a range of activities and events including several social events as well as a series of talks which will equip you with skills to face the homophobia and transphobia you face.
