Celebrating Flavours of Life
One of the biggest events of second semester, Festival of Nations 2009 highlight Melbourne’s position as a multicultural centre. Over two days, a merging of different nationalities, traditions, cultures and ethnicities will take place under one roof. Come join us for an unforgettable experience.
Food Stalls: Including Mauritian, Greek, Lebanese, Korean, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese.
Performances: African Drumming, Kompang (Malay drumming), Flare dance ensemble, Tachi and Wushu, Arabic and Lebanese dance, Mariachi band
Non-food stalls: henna painting, face painting, fortune telling, shooting stars, limbo dance competition. Great prizes are up for grabs.
