Issue #0001 — Appealing Academic Results

Description: A student is dissatisfied with their academic results and feels that the final result does not reflect the feedback received during semester.

Response: Students can appeal results to the Academic Board. Assistance with appeals is provided by the Student Union Advocacy Service and Graduate students can also access the Graduate Student Association Advocacy Service (external link).

If a student is not satisfied with the outcome of an appeal within the university, it may be possible to seek assistance from the Ombudsman of Victoria (external link).

There is no cost associated for any student in accessing the Student Union Advocacy Service or Ombudsman services.
