Prosh Week is upon us, from Jolly Wrestling to the unenviable Iron Gut, this week has it all! Most importantly,Prosh Week has the famous Scavenger Hunt —24 hours of madness and mayhem!
Monday
10am–Envelopes, North Court
Prosh Week kicks off with Envelopes. Check out the teams fully decked out in Prosh Week regalia and start your quest for points, bidding for and attempting to complete the bizarre tasks. Leave your shame at home.
1pm-Relay Boat Race, TBA
Come and take part in the longest relay Boat Race, Melbourne University has ever seen!
2pm-Mystery Event, TBA
It will be a test of skill, strength, speed, wit and shamelessness. All mystery events will be announced on www.proshweek.net.
7pm-Pub Games, INU Bar
Are you a Pool Shark? A Poker Pro? Or does Darts take your fancy? We’ve got something for everyone at Prosh Pub Games ’08!
Tuesday
10am-Long Drive Departs, North Court
24 hours of action-packed adventure awaits cars of Three or more people as they tackle what could be the most defining moment of their life. Or they might go to Warrnambool. Either way, excitement is ensured as they take photos, collect items and perform meaningless tasks around country Victoria.
11am-Billy Kart Race, meet North Court
It’s fast, furious and action packed! Come join this adrenaline-pumping race or be ready to jump out of the way as the carts go thundering around the Uni. All carts must have steering devices, a driver, no brakes and several helpers.
1pm–Band, BBQ and Beverages, North Court Join in the mayhem with Mr Nick Nickolas, one of the funniest acts you’ll ever see. Nick is a skilled magician, with wicked witticisms.
Evening-Mystery Events Events for all participants! Make sure you keep this night free.
Wednesday
12noon-Jolly Wrestling, South Lawn
Whether you’re into Greco-Roman wrestling or you think that Steve Austin and the WWF is all real, Jolly Wrestling is for you.
1pm-Boat Races, North Court
Thumbs on tables! Chin on tables! Face the amber! SKOLL! Warning: there may not be
any actual boats.
1.30pm-Iron Gut, North Court
Find out just what your gut is made of as contestants eat their way to victory.
2pm-Boat Races Finals, North Court
The exciting conclusion to Boat Races, watch the best of the best in the ultimate contest.
7pm–Trivia Night, INU Bar
Know everything about anything? Ever thought that your head was filled with useless little bits of information? Trivia’s the perfect chance to prove it and have a lot of fun.
Thursday
12noon-Scav Hunt Begins
So you never thought your prized stash of Fairy Winkles, limited-edition Judge Judy figurine or virgin pack of basketball cards from 1989 would ever come in handy? Scav Hunt is your best chance. The 24 hour Scav Hunt is famed as the greatest in Australia—clearly outdoing anything Monash or RMIT have ever attempted. Photos, items and crazy zany events are all a part of Scav Hunt ’08!
Friday
12noon-Scav Hunt Ends and Judging Begins
Crazy constructions, amazing antics, odd objects! Judge for yourself what the craziest people in uni are capable of achieving in just 24 hours.
7pm-Results and end of Scav celebrations begin, INU Bar
Come join the Celebrations, see the photos, watch the videos and hear the stories. Need we say any more?
