Above Water Launch

The UMSU Arts and Media Departments launch their annual creative writing anthology, Above Water, as part of the Melbourne Writers Festival on Friday 24 August.

Above Water features the freshest new talent in fiction, graphic art and illustration from students at the University of Melbourne, selected from over 120 entries.

Join us for a drink and some canapés as we hear short readings and present 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize as awarded by our esteemed judges: Kat Muscat, editor of Voiceworks, Sam Cooney, editor of The Lifted Brow, and Nam Le, author of The Boat.

The launch will begin promptly at 5:30 and conclude at 6:30. After Party details TBA.

This is a FREE event, all welcome, but RSVP essential.
