In accordance with electoral regulation 16A.1, a by-election will be held for the following positions:

Burnley Student Association Department (BSAD)

  • President (Education Coordinator)
  • Vice-president (Welfare Coordinator)
  • Publications / Media Coordinator
  • Facilities Coordinator
  • Sports and Recreation Coordinator
  • Seven (7) voting representatives for the BSAD Committee

All BSAD positions must be held by students enrolled in a higher education course at the Burnley Campus at the University of Melbourne.

Indigenous Department

  • Indigenous Officer
  • Seven (7) members of the Indigenous Committee

The voting members of the Indigenous Committee and the Officer must be Indigenous Students, as evidenced by a roll kept at the Centre for Indigenous Education.

Victorian College of the Arts & Music Student Association (VCAMSA)

The following vacancies on the VCAMSA Council, to be elected by and from students enrolled in the Faculty of VCA and Music:

  • Campaigns Co-ordinator

One representative elected by and from each of the following constituencies:

  • Queer Students (who is also an ex-officio and non-voting member of the Queer Committee)
  • Indigenous Students, (who is also an ex-officio and non-voting member of the Indigenous Committee)
  • International Students
  • Wom*n Students
  • Graduate Students

One representative each of the following academic units of the Faculty of the VCA and Music, elected by and from students of those academic units:

  • Art
  • Drama
  • Dance
  • Film and Television
  • Music
  • Production
  • Musical Theatre

Voting

Polling for vacancies in the Indigenous Department and for the Indigenous Student Representative on the VCAMSA Council will occur in the Centre for Indigenous Education on Monday May 7 between 9am and 4pm.

Polling for all vacancies on the VCAMSA Council will take place on the Southbank Campus on Tuesday May 8 between 9am and 4pm.

Polling for all vacancies on the Burnley Student Association Department will take place on the Burnley Campus on Wednesday May 9 between 11am – 6pm.

Nominations

Nominations will open on Monday April 16 at 9.00am. Nominations will not be accepted prior to this time.

Nominations and Ticket Registration close on Thursday April 26 at 12.00pm.
