This is are rare opportunity to tell the university directly about the impact of the Melbourne Model on your education. Whether you are a ‘heritage’ student battling with the constraints of the ‘teach out’ or a ‘new generation’ student experiencing a lack or clarity in your degree, we want to hear your story. The University is conducting a review of the implementation and direction of the Melbourne Model and Growing Esteem, titled ‘Refining our Strategy’. To read the document put out by the University, Refining Our Strategy, and for more information about the review, go to growingesteem.unimelb.edu.au/about/refining_our_strategy.

This is a chance for critique and comment on the University, your experience of teaching and learning, student engagement and the University’s broader direction and future vision. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how the University can better improve the student experience, or you are passionate about voicing your opinion, get in touch with us!

The Education (Academic) Officers are putting together a student response to the paper with recommendations for the University. We want to put in feedback, experiences and opinions from students as part of the submission and would greatly value your contribution. Please try to submit your feedback by the 29th of July. If you would like more information or would like to forward your comments please contact us via educationacademic@union.unimelb.edu.au

We are holding an informal Student Forum where you can come and have a chat about how you think the University could be better taking into account students needs! Drop in on Tuesday, 28th July at 12pm to contribute or find out more. The forum will be in the Training room on the 3rd floor of Union House.

The University is also holding a student focus group on Thursday, 30th July. If you are interested in speaking directly to the University, then you can register for the focus group here
