UMSU Response to the Higher Education Review

Last month the Higher Education Review Panel released its Discussion Paper and is inviting submissions from student organisations. The submission deadline is July 31st but despite being the Winter Recess, UMSU is eager to involve students in the drafting of the submission.

The Melbourne Model and the future of Public Education was a debate held on Tuesday 11 March in the Laby Theatre, Physics Building. Speakers included Libby Buckingham, President of the University of Melbourne Student Union; Professor Glyn Davis, Vice-Chancellor of Melbourne University; and Melanie Lazarow, University staff member and education activist.
