Environments student? Join the UMSU Education Department and Envi on Wednesday week 12 for a joint BBQ to talk about everything Education related. The BBQ will be on the Architecture Lawns from 12.30pm and members of the education department and Envi will be there to chat about your degree.
UMSU held a sleepover last Wednesday at Union House to raise awareness for student housing and homelessness. Every year the National Union of Students (NUS) runs a conference on Education. This year the conference will be in Sydney from 4th-6th July.

The University run Subject Experience Surveys are now open until 3 June for Semester 1 subjects. The SES are an important feedback mechanism for the University and faculties to find out what works and what doesn’t.

UMSU is running the National Union of Student Quality Survey to fight for a better quality of education for you.
Every two years the National Union of Students runs a survey on the experiences and perceptions of students’ quality of education. This year the launch of this survey will be at the University of Melbourne in South Court of Union House on Wednesday 18 April from 11.30am-1.30pm.

The Law Student Society have a great page around the issue of the FEE HELP gap, the increasing cost of the degree and what action is being taken on it.
The Student Representative Network is for students interested in issues within the University, be it in individual faculties such as course reviews or quality of teaching and learning issues.
The Council of International Students Australia (CISA) have expressed concerns that some students from Iran may be facing severe financial difficulties as a result of the drop in the value of the Iranian Rial and the increasing restrictions on international movement of money from Iran due to international sanctions.
