Let’s Talk’ is a place for international students to practice their English conversation skills with the assistance of local students. It also seeks to promote cultural exchange, language sharing, networking, and friendships between local and international students.
Local students, known as ‘volunteer chatterboxes’ or facilitators, run conversation sessions whereby they meet with groups of international students for a casual chat. In addition, training sessions are organised for the ‘chatterboxes’, as are group social gatherings.
We invite everyone (VCA and postgraduate students as well) to join us as a ‘chatterbox’ or as a student wishing to improve his/her English skills.
