Clubs affiliated with the Student Union range from the cultural, religious, political, musical to the recreational. So join a club or two, meet other students and have fun doing the things that you enjoy. If you can’t find the club that suits you, start your own!
Student Union Members
Student Union members always get an awesome deal joining clubs —- all your club membership fees are half price. Also, your club will benefit from your Student Union membership —- more grants and better resources. So join your Student Union to help your club and to keep campus culture alive!
To join the Student Union, either go to the Information Centre on the Ground Floor of Union house or log on to www.union.unimelb.edu.au/membership
Promoting to Clubs
The Clubs and Societies Department does not have a dedicated medium for advertising to clubs. We also will not accept requests for forwarding materials such as promo flyers and vouchers. If you are an external party who would like to promote a business or events to clubs, please contact the clubs directly. Clubs’ contact details are available from the Clubs on Campus links on the right of your screen. Otherwise, we recommend advertising in the official student paper Farrago.
External businesses can pay to be part of the Clubs and Societies Expo in Week-O (February) and Mid-Year Orientation (July). To express your interest in an upcoming Clubs and Societies Expo, please contact Marisa on m.simanjuntak-at-union.unimelb.edu.au or call 03 8344 8869.
