Notification of selection for National Final Exhibition first week of September 2009
Receipt of physical entries to National Final Exhibition by mid September 2009
The National Tertiary Art Prize began in 1984 and remains the predominant national Tertiary Art Competition in Australia. NTAP is open for any student with, or without an art background. It is divided into three categories:
1. Painting / Works on paper / Printmaking (Must not exceed 1m square)
1st PRIZE: $250 courtesy of AACA
2. Photography / Photo-media / Electronic Art (Must not exceed 1m square, all equipment for electronic art must be supplied)
1st PRIZE: $250 courtesy of AACA
3. Sculpture / Installation, Includes jewellery, ceramics and textiles (Must not exceed 85cm cubed)
1st PRIZE: $250 courtesy of AACA
4. Peoples Choice Award – as voted by people attending the exhibition
1st PRIZE: $250 courtesy of AACA
The Art Prize attempts to draw out talents which may remain largely hidden otherwise. So why not have a go!!
